Ideas that outlast
the evening

From sold-out keynotes to small-group book discussions, every Winter Park Institute program is a chance to hear from people shaping our world and explore what their ideas mean for our community. Find a conversation that moves you.

Overview

Independent thinking, together

Every Winter Park Institute Experience begins with a question worth asking. It opens with a WPI Presents conversation with a globally recognized speaker, then carries those ideas into the community through reads, forums, classroom visits, and intergenerational discussions. Each Experience also creates an opportunity to turn inspiration and reflection into meaningful local impact.

Whether you join us for a keynote, a book group, or a campus event, you will find a room full of neighbors who came to listen, ask questions, and think together.

Ecosystem

An entire ecosystem

A Winter Park Institute Experience does not end when the applause does. Each speaking engagement anchors a season of programs that carry one big idea into classrooms, living rooms, and gathering places across Central Florida.

The Experience Series

Several times a year, Winter Park Institute brings a globally recognized leader to Winter Park for a public conversation. Each Experience follows our Inspire, Reflect, and Impact model: a keynote, a season of programs that deepen its ideas, and an investment in local work.

Pages for the Ages

Winter Park Institute’s intergenerational learning program, Pages for the Ages, brings college students and older adults together to read, watch, and talk about the work of each featured speaker. Facilitated conversations build understanding across generations, with partners including the Winter Park Library and Westminster Winter Park.
